So you need help finding long tail keywords eh? Well, I do not blame you. It can be a daunting task, especially so if you are new! But it essential that you become efficient at it, because otherwise you will struggle to dominate a micro niche and hence run a profitable business! So are you ready to learn how to find long tail keywords then?

Now, your first step is to head to the keyword analysis tool, such as the one Google AdWords provides. Once you are there, enter the keyword of your choice. For this article, we will use “Weight Loss” as the root keyword. So if you were to head over to Google AdWord’s tool and type in “weight loss”, you would notice that there are roughly 6 million searches a month. Now it would be great to rank high for a term which gets that many queries monthly, but it’s not going to happen.

Instead, continue to scroll down the list. When you come across the phrase “fast weight loss tips”, scroll back up and enter that phrase now. You’ll notice that this particular phrase has roughly 10 000 searches a month. But ranking high for that, while possible, is not easy. You need to either get something more targeted OR get a variation of some sort. And that is exactly what you will get when you enter that phrase. The 4th, 6th, 8th and 9th results are the ones you should be looking to target.

These 4 specific keywords should be easy to rank for. What you should do is enter the keyword of your choice and do the same thing. That way, you can divide your niche into numerous sub/micro niches. And once you do that, fine tune your search engine optimization skills to literally dominate them!

So there you have it, finding long tail keywords should be a cinch now!

To your success,
